Just flew on by! Wil and I were both sick all month :( I got sick the first week of May, him the second week, me again the 3rd... One of the yuckier parts of the cancer is he gets sick ALOT which was a rare occurance before his immune system had to fight all the cancer cells, which means I doubly sick... sucks though, cause Wil doesn't usually get common colds like ordinary people :)
We went to his second-to-last treatment today, he puked and then was good enough to go to the diner afterwards! Crazy kids. Right now he's resting but I'll post a picture of his new shirt... actually all the shirts... from today... It was a take on his myspace headline, "Chemo hair loss FTW" (for all you non-gamers out there FTW = for the win)
that's all for now! :)

AC baby!
We went to Atlantic City this week Monday to Wednesday. It was good to relax... and shop! The hardest part for me was leaving Holly at a kennel. First of all it was a production to find a place to leave her. One place we checked out wanted to charge us $35 to let her SLEEP in a loud closed room (think the SPCA), then they wanted $15 extra per day to walk her *3 times* a day for 15 minuts. AND they wanted $2.50 extra a day to feed her own food!
I was very annoyed. Everyone who owns a dog knows a dog needs more potty breaks than 3 (especially my little devil) and a dog should be kept on his or her food consistantly! ugh!
But enough about that... we went to AC and played the nickel slots and the penny slots... the only money I won was $6 but we played for hours on $20, it was pretty awesome! Then we got to hit the outlets in AC and we went out to dinner together, which was VERY nice :)
Huge thanks to my parents who made this trip possible, BIG shout out to King of Prussia Pet Resort who's employees not only watched my dog but spoiled her while I was away, and big thank you to Wil's parents who checked in on our cats while we were away! :)

almost forgot the kitten!
Hey guys quick update to what I just wrote, I forgot the last we said about the kitten was she was annoying!! She's really cute now and LOVES everyone, she thinks she's a big cat like Buzz! Mira has taken him as her mentor -- whether he likes it or not! And Holly has nominated herself big sister/mommy figure for Mira! She grooms Mira and plays with her. So peace reigns in our household -- well not really!! It's pretty crazy around here especially at night with the cats, we lock them out of the bedroom because the one night we let them come in Mira was LITERALLY jumping on and off the bed... too much for us! So here's some new pics and as I type, Holly is lying next to me and Mira is cuddled on her... so cute!

no hair no more
Okay so last week Wil got irritated at his hair and decided to shave it off. Which coincided with the fact that I wanted to get a trim -- my hair's getting long and out of control because I'm growing it out to donate it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths -- anyways he shaved his head because when he'd get out of the shower there would be be hair all over his neck and shoulders. Plus at random moments there would be hair falling in his food, which is pretty gross, so to make it better he took matters into his own hands and had it shaved. We have to send props out to Brittany at the Hair Cuttery... she was SO nice about cutting his hair and even trimmed his sort-of-beard and eyebrows. She was really respectful and awesome about the whole thing, which made him feel better.
So in case you're wondering what he looks like here's a picture:

Now we get to pick out hats because we have to find particular "Fun" gamer hats that are flex fit so they don't stick on his hair stubbles. His scalp is a little sensative -- part is from the chemo the other part is from the meds they have him on :( -- if you have any suggestions where to get gamer hats leave us a comment!

home is where the heart is..... poop and other stories
I'm HOME! So exciting! Holly and I came home Wednesday night but I was still pretty wiped out from the flu, Mrs. P was here cleaning our apartment making it sparkly, since our kitchen/dining room area had recently gotten out of control!! Plus there were probably flu germs everywhere so it needed a good scrub down! Now our apartment is pretty clean... I just need to fold and put away the 17 loads of laundry my mom and sister so wonderfully washed for us while I was staying with them...
Wil's doing pretty well, he was super constipated (for 7 DAYS!!) he didn't want to call the doctor but we convinced him to call the answering service (since it was 9 at night) and tell them to have the doctor call back. He didn't want to bother the doctor over something so 'stupid' but we told him having stomach pains so bad he can't stand isn't stupid, it's a problem! He called they suggested milk of magnesia, which my mom took him out to get... and get Wendy's .... which Wil ate with his stomach hurting!
I will NEVER understand guys.... he still had to wait until the next day (yesterday) to have a bowel movement, and then finally last night got it alllllllllllllllllllll out (yay!) The radiologist we had a consult with yesterday said it's due to the chemo, anti-nausea medicine and the percocets he was taking, he suggested magnesium sulfate(?) if Wil didn't pass anything. Dr. Rate said it's like rocket fuel and will TOTALLY clean you out... so we have a back up weapon if this happens again!
In other news we got our kitten, she's a little..... crazy. She hisses at everyone, it was so not pleasant yesterday, Holly got so excited about the little fluffball she CLIMBED into the tiny little cage with Mira who started freaking out.... I think she was tramatized! We'll see what happens, keep your homes open in case you need to make a spot for a calico kitten... :)

flu to you
I have the flu, I can't even express how angry I am!! It's vitally important Wil doesn't get sick at this point since he started chemo! I'm worried I might have infected him, I'm upset because I had to stay at my parents home from Sunday until hopefully tomorrow (longer if I don't get well FAST!) to reduce the risk of giving it to him. Please keep him in your prayers to keep his immune system strong so he doesn't get sick!
Meanwhile back at the ranch... or apartment... Wil lost his wallet on Satuday, he still can't find it (send some prayers to St. Anthony to find it!) I hope it's in my car or in the apartment :\ Also his mouth has been hurting him, he finally called his oncologists' office and the nurse got him a script for a mouthwash that numbs up your mouth so you can eat! He said it was so bad he couldn't eat and didn't WANT to eat... poor thing. He's okay now, still in pain from the port, so still on perocets and his incision from the surgical biopsy is still hurting -- the surgeon said it would be hurting for months since he cut through muscle ---- which makes me think of the dissections we did in high school -- cutting through the muscles and tissues to look at the organs... ugh.. ew... what a thought!
Leave some love!

Ahhhhh!
It's nice to be able to sit back and relax finally!! Wil's been through so much in the past month... longer.. but it's been really crazy to keep up with everything. We had to make some tough decisions, after all who even thinks about the possibility of freezing your boyfriend's -- or your own -- sperm at age 23?! Not many people. We were really back and forth on the issue. Because it's not even a definately we'd use it, but we finally decided we want the insurance. We're still waiting, biting our nails about the counts and all the important stuff. Did you know many males with Hodgkin's have low sperm counts to begin with, even BEFORE being diagnosed. Crazy isn't it? Oh the things you learn.
So Wil did one chemo treatment so far on Thursday and yesterday got a shot to boost his white blood cell count. I didn't even know they made those! And last night I couldn't sleep because I have a persistant cough, I'm paranoid about being sick and getting him sick. Again another thing we never used to have to worry about, because Wil rarely got sick, usually it was just me.
Please keep praying for him, and send him love, it keeps his spirits up... I'm making him shirts this week to wear on appointments to make it a little better. The most important thing we've found is humor, so stay tuned for pics of his new shirts :)
